Valley Legacy Awards accepting nominations

YOUNGSTOWN

Valley Legacy Awards is accepting nominations for the 13th annual Valley Legacy.

Awards will be presented Oct. 4 at the Valley Legacy Awards Luncheon in three categories: Outstanding Senior Award for Community Achievement, Outstanding Senior Award for Professional Excellence and Outstanding Senior Advocate. All nominees will be recognized for their work during the program.

Nominee must be a resident of Mahoning County, and must have created or contributed to the community and inspired others through their work ethic, selflessness and enthusiasm.

Previous nominees are eligible for re-nomination. A committee of judges including community leaders and past award recipients will review and select the 2017 recipients.

Forms are available online at www.shepherdofthevalley.com/valley-legacy-awards. Submissions must be received by July 17.
