Robinwood Lane Elementary students brought the school year to an end with a day full of fun on May 26.

The whole school was filled with games, inflatables and snacks for the children to enjoy as the finished up their school work.

Many of the younger students took part in the activities in the morning while the older students watched a movie.

In the afternoon the older students participated in the activities while the younger students stayed in their classrooms and watched a movie.

Teacher and PTA member Nicole Haggerty has been organizing the fun day for several years.

This year, the weather was rainy and didn’t permit for the students to go outside and participate in different activities.

Haggerty has prepared backup plans for if something like that were to happen and most of the activities were moved inside.

Haggerty chose games that students would like such as Hungry, Hungry Hippos, an egg relay, pool noodle hockey and several others.

There was a dunk tank that students volunteered to sit in and wait for the chance for their classmates to try and dunk them.

Students had fun spending one of their last days at school eating snow cones and cotton candy while spending time with their friends and classmates.

The fun day gives the fourth-grade students the opportunity to have fun and remember the good times they had at Robinwood Lane Elementary before they have to move to another school for fifth grade.
