Poland Women's Club plans 'Ladies Night Out'

The club is planning “Ladies Night Out” for Oct. 16.

“Ladies Night Out,” an annual Quarter Auction fundraiser of the Poland Women’s Club, is scheduled for Oct. 16 at Holy Family Church hall in Poland.

Last year, the event raised $10,000, with donations going to the Poland Fireman’s Association, Poland Junior Women’s Club, Celebrate Poland, Poland Relay for Life, Poland Village Gardeners and a scholarship to a Poland High School graduate.

Community organizations receiving donations were Golden Strings Inc. (Purple Cat), Making Kids Count, Silver Lining Cancer Fund, Plant the Seed to Read, Rescue Mission and Salvation Army.
