Birding the Sanctuary

What: Enjoy an early morning bird walk at Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary led by Jeff Harvey of Wild Birds Unlimited.

Where: Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, 2650 West Calla Road, Beaver Township.

Details: Register at Ford Nature Center by next Thursday. Space limited; registration required. Boots required. Moderate difficulty, 1.25 miles.

Lanterman’s Mill Trolley

When: July 15, 10 a.m. to noon.

What: All aboard the Cohasset Express to enjoy views of historic Mill Creek Park and a guided tour of Lanterman’s Mill.

Cost Adults: $9 Mahoning County resident; $12, NR; 12 and younger under or 60 and older, $7 R, $10 NR.
