Woman stabbed while watching other women fight

YOUNGSTOWN — A 39-year-old woman told police early Tuesday she was stabbed in the back while watching another group of women fighting in the 1400 block of Woodcrest Avenue.

When police arrived about 1:40 a.m. the victim told police she came outside to see what was going on and one of the women cut her with a knife she was swinging around.

Before police could question her further, she was taken by car to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, reports said.
