Shots reported

YOUNGSTOWN

Reports said a man fired several shots at a car early Sunday before pushing it into an East Dewey Avenue home and damaging a natural-gas meter.

Officers were called about 12:45 a.m. to the 900 block of East Dewey Avenue, where they found a Cadillac in the middle of the road heavily damaged, another car heavily damaged by gunfire, a hole in the side of a house and a strong smell of natural gas.

Reports said the owner of the car that was fired upon told police she had been in an argument with a man earlier in the evening and he threatened to shoot up her house.

As she was standing outside next to her car, reports said, a dark-colored vehicle came up the street, smashed into the rear of the Cadillac and the driver of the vehicle began shooting a handgun.
