Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties will host its 12th annual auction at Margaritaville from 6 to 10 p.m. July 21 at St. Michael Life Center, 252 N. Broad St., Canfield. CRAFT SHOWS
The 53rd Annual Salem Kiwanis Antique and Craft Show will be take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15 at Centennial Park, East Pershing Street and Park Avenue. Admission is free, and this year’s show will feature food vendors and music as well as more than 70 auction items and baskets to be raffled. FAIRS, FESTIVALS
Calla Community Church will host its annual lawn festival at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield (between state Routes 46 and 62, near Haus’ Cider Mill). Menu items consist of hot sandwiches, salads, cakes, pies, ice cream and beverages. Donations will be accepted and will be used to continue support to our mission work. There will be a raffle for a twin size vintage flower design patchwork quilt that was made by the ladies of the church. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for 6 and will be available the night of the festival.
FUNDRAISERS
The Chocolate Chik and Expressions of You will host a golf outing at 10:30 a.m. July 23 at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St., Girard. Cost is $75 per person or $300 for a team of 4 which includes green fees, cart, food, drink and 18 holes of golf. Skins are $5 each, and prizes for closest to the hole will be given. There also will be raffles and gifts for all participants. Proceeds will be donated to Fight Like a Girl Foundation, for children that have one year or less to live. St. Luke Holy Name Society is planning its ninth annual golf outing for 1 p.m. July 22 at Bedford Trails Golf Course. All proceeds will be used to replace or repair facility equipment. The event will be a shotgun start and a four-man scramble. Men and women are welcome. Event sponsors are $500; gold sponsors, $360; silver sponsors, $150; and hole sponsors, $75. St. Joseph’s Church in Austintown, 4545 New Rd. will host the St. Vincent de Paul’s “Christmas in July” event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Various vendors will display trees, ornaments, lights and other Christmas decor. All proceeds benefit the St. Vincent de Paul’s soup kitchen and food pantry.
West Side Cats and All About the Pawz motorcyle run will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 16 at Austintown Park, 6000 Kirk Road. Cost is $15 per bike, $5 for a passenger and $10 bike show entry. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothing for the entire family. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays. The July monthly special is buy two adult items and get a third item free. Helping Hands will be closed Tuesday for the July 4 holiday, and sales will resume July 11.

Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice Senior Center will host a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11 to 31 (sale will be closed on weekends). The Great Lakes Regional Convention of the AGO grand finale concert at Stambaugh Auditorium will take place at 8 p.m. Wednesday will feature James David Christie, the organist of the Boston Symphony and world-renowned organist, along with the Youngstown Scoring Stage Orchestra. This concert will feature Stambaugh Auditorium’s fully restored E.M. Skinner Pipe Organ with full orchestra.

SUMMER CAMP
The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is hosting two summer camps at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St. The first Summer Day Camp is July 10 to 14: My Town, Your Town for age 8 to 12. Participants will explore 10,000 years of history in five days with all new field trips, activities, and camper-driven projects. The second camp, July 24 to 28 is designed for Young Historians age 12 to 15. The campers will dive a bit deeper into local history as they learn what it’s like to be a real historian. They will complete a special project, a website, a video or an exhibit about a local history topic. Both camps run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
