New Castle Playhouse to present ‘South Pacific’

NEW CASTLE, Pa.
The musical “South Pacific” will open July 14 at New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., and run for three-consecutive weekends.
Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.
Opening night will feature a complimentary wine and cheese party for all ticket holders at 6 p.m. in the Annex Theatre, with the NCP Mini Stars performing a show titled “Rock the Jukebox” with music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
For reservations, call the box office at 724-654-3437. Tickets are $15 ($12 for senior citizens and students, $10 for children 12 and under).
Michael Cavalier will direct the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic.
A revival of “South Pacific” won eight Tony Awards earlier this year.
