Joseph Meranto named interim Youngstown schools superintendent

YOUNGSTOWN — Joseph Meranto, Choffin Career and Technical Center executive director, has been named Youngstown City Schools interim superintendent, according to an email CEO Krish Mohip sent districtwide. District spokeswoman Denise Dick confirmed Meranto’s appointment to the position.
