Miss Stevens, Mr. Nelson plan fall wedding

YOUNGSTOWN

Shelley Stevens of Youngstown is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Lauren B. Stevens, to Kristofer R. Nelson, both of Charleston, S.C. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Marc Stevens.

The prospective groom’s parents are Brian and Torill Nelson of Camden, S.C.

The ceremony and reception will take place at Alhambra Hall, Mount Pleasant, S.C., on Sept. 8. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Stevens graduated from the College of Charleston and is employed by Berkeley County School District, in Goose Creek, S.C., as a special-education teacher.

Mr. Nelson graduated from the University of South Carolina and is employed by Ultra Select Medical in Charleston as a sales representative and operations manager.
