SENIOR CITIZENS


Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet for its monthly meeting at noon Friday in the conference room of Lowellville City Hall, 140 E. Liberty St. Ernie Ciarniello, will preside, and a catered lunch will be provided. Reservations can be made by calling Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. There will be a 50-50 raffle and bingo after the business meeting. New members are welcome and do not have to live in Lowellville. Public Employees Retirees Inc., Mahoning County 18, will meet at noon Feb. 7 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Guest speaker will be a member of the Boardman Fire Department, and there will be a money raffle. The menu will consist of chicken francaise, roasted potatoes with red and green peppers, glazed baby carrots, salad, rolls with butter, cherry pie a la mode, and coffee, tea or a soft drink. The cost is $12 for members, associate members and guests and payable at the door. PERI Inc., Trumbull County Chapter 56, will meet at 11:15 a.m. Feb. 8 at DiLucia’s Restaurant, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Dorothy Barto, executive director of Alzheimer Network, will be the speaker.
