Ken and Linda Hartzell mark 50th anniversary

Ken and Linda Hartzell of Poland marked their 50th anniversary Jan. 21.

Their children are Diana and Chris Fuschillo of Struthers, Denise Hartzell of Poland, and Karl and Jen Hartzell of Cornersburg. They have 11 grandchildren: Chris J., Laura, Kaitlin and Jacob Fuschillo; Shannon, Joseph (Heather), Kelly, Allison and Victoria Wiggins and Morgan Smith. Great-grandchildren are Jadyn and Greyson Wiggins.

The former Linda K. Herren and Mr. Hartzell were married Jan. 21, 1967, at First United Methodist Church, Sebring, Ohio.

Mrs. Hartzell worked as a lunch aide for Youngstown schools, was executive secretary of the Rescue Mission for eight years and is a society writer for The Vindicator, where she has worked for 27 years. She also is organist and choir director at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Boardman, where the couple have been members for more than 40 years.

Mr. Hartzell is a school bus driver for Bus Team in Trumbull County. He also worked as a Schwan’s delivery driver and was a copier repairman for more than 25 years. He is a U.S. Air Force Vietnam-era veteran and served in England, North Dakota and the Philippines. He also serves as an elder in the church.
