“Hairspray.” directed by C. Austin Hill and Nancy Andersen Wolfgang, The Youngstown Playhouse, auditions at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Performances May 12-14, 19-21. If necessary, callbacks will be Sunday. The show requires a diversified, multiracial cast. All auditionees are asked to prepare 32 bars of a ’50s or ’60s rock song (not from the show). An accompanist will be provided. For the character “Little Inez,” an African-American girl around the age of 11 is needed. Call 330-788-8739.
