Milwaukee, Wis.

Five players scored in double figures for the second straight game, but the Youngstown State men’s basketball team dropped a 94-85 overtime decision to Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Junior Cameron Morse led the Penguins (9-13, 3-6 Horizon League) with 21 points while freshman Braun Hartfield had 16 points with six rebounds and senior Jorden Kaufman scored 14 points with a team-high eight rebounds. Junior Francisco Santiago posted 12 points with eight assists and senior Matt Donlan added 11 points off the bench.

Leading Milwaukee (7-14, 3-5 Horizon League) was Cody Wichmann with 23 points, Brock Stull with 19 and Brett Prahl with 18 points. Cameron Harvey added 15 points of the bench.

Milwaukee’s Prahl grabbed an offensive rebound and scored with 2.5 seconds left tied the game at 75 and forced the overtime. In the extra period, the Panthers scored the first eight points on 3-pointers from Wichmann and Stull and a jumper by Stull to take an 83-75 lead.

YSU returns home to host Cleveland State at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
