Nai-Ni dancers coming to Ford

The Nai-Ni Chen Dance company will come to Ford Family Recital Hall on Feb. 11 for an 8 p.m. performance.

The innovative company blends traditional Asian dance with modern Western styles. It is known for its elaborate costumes and use of colorful ribbons.

The Feb. 11 performance will celebrate the Chinese New Year, which is designated as the Year of the Rooster. It is suitable for all ages.

The show includes portrayals of golden dragons, red dragons and white peacocks, accompanied by the exotic sounds of the gong, cymbal, erhu and pipa.
