North Preschool students got into the holiday spirit during their class few days of classes before their winter break.

All of the classes had their own Christmas sings where they sang holiday songs to their friends and families. As guests entered to watch the performance, they had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets to win a plate that each of the classes made. At the end of the performance, one lucky person was selected to receive the plate.

The students made the plates during their class time using paint and their fingers. The plates were decorated in a Christmas theme using the children’s fingerprints as a wreath around the edge of the plate.

Santa and Mrs. Claus also visited North Preschool to talk to the students. The Clauses took time out of their busy schedule to read books to students and talk to them about their upcoming Christmas plans.

Much of the class work the students had to do was themed around the holidays to make learning the material more fun.

The students enjoyed having special activities to look forward to, making them more excited to come to school.
