Beeghly Oaks hosted its annual Christmas Open House for residents, their families and staff members on Dec. 16.

The celebration brought in more than 75 people to enjoy the holiday festivities from food to entertainment to skits. The celebration started with a holiday sing-a-long and a skit of the nativity scene performed by the residents of Beeghly Oaks.

After the sing-a-long a skit, a special guest showed up for live entertainment. Elvis impersonator Mark Lee Pringle performed a few songs to put the guests in a cheerful mood for the rest of the party. Music was provided throughout the celebration by DJ Howard Reese from Southern Cross music.

Residents, staff members and other guests of the celebration participated in a gift exchange. Treats and other refreshments were made by the Beeghly Oaks staff for the guests to enjoy.

Santa and Mrs. Claus came toward the end of the celebration to pay a visit and take a photo with all of the guests. There was a photographer taking pictures of the guests with Santa and Mrs. Claus that they were able to take back home with them.

Two little helpers came with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Master Milo and Lady Mirelle are two therapy dogs who came to visit the guests and residents. Milo and Mirelle came prepared dressed in holiday clothing.

The Christmas Open House brings cheer to the residents by allowing them to spend the holiday season with their families and other community members.
