The Choral Music Department of Canfield High School is busy with final preparations for a musical stroll down memory lane with selections from the 50s through the 90s, a Blast from the Past.
On Jan. 28, Canfield High School will be transformed into a dinner theater extravaganza. At 7:30 p.m., the evening continues with a musical presentation with hits from the 50’s through the 90’s prepared by Choral Music Director Kelly Scurich and the students of the Canfield High School choirs.
Tickets are currently on sale – tasting and concert combination tickets are $20, the concert alone is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets are limited for the tasting, so reserve yours soon by calling 330-702-7128. Leave a message with your phone number and your call will be returned for confirmation.
This dinner theater is presented by the Canfield Choral Music Department as an annual fund raising event. Choir is a unique academic program with many outside expenses, including the costs of choir robes for each student, fees for accompanists and competitions, out of state travel every other year and scholarships for seniors. The Canfield Choral Boosters organization was formed to defray these costs while helping to provide an excellent music education for every student.
