SENIOR CITIZENS

AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m., and lunch and a meeting will follow at noon. Plans will be made for the 2017 calendar. October, November and December birthdays will be celebrated, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Girard Old Timers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Road.

Holy Family Seniors Group will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall. Officers for 2017 will be elected. Current officers are Ruth Burns, president; Carol Huck, vice president; and Laurie Fox, secretary and treasurer. Lunch will be served after the meeting and bingo and cards will be played. Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church on Cardinal Drive. Cards will be played, and January birthdays will be acknowledged.
