Records set at AAC meet
WARREN
Fitch senior Timmy Kubachi and Boardman’s Junior Callen Aulizia shared the boys Swimmer of the Meet honors while Boardman sophomore Jennah Markovitch was selected for the girls. Kubacki set meet records in 200 intermediate (1:55.68) and the 100 backstroke (52.31). Aulizia set meet records for the 50 freestyle (21.4) and 100 freestyle (47.04). He was a member of the 200 freestyle relay team that set a record (1:28.2). His teammates were Matthew DunLany, Noah Basista and Kyle Kimerer. Boardman’s boys won the meet with 533 points. Canfield was second with 340.5. Boardman’s girls won with 652 points. Poland was second with 340.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Ursuline 49, Cornerstone Christian 47
YOUNGSTOWN
The Irish were led by Dayshanette Harris’ 22-point effort with Anyah Curd and Simone Comer adding eight points each. Curd also recorded 13 rebounds. The Patriots were led by Michaela Cloonan’s 16 points. Lauren Harris had 12 points and Madison Cloonan supplied eight more.
Cardinal Mooney 63, Canton Cent. Catholic 58, OT
PERRY TOWNSHIP
Taylor Martin scored 17 points and Caitlyn Sapp added 14 as Mooney won in overtime. Katy Farey led Canton Central Catholic with 24 points. Erin Krupar and Skye Schilling had 17 and 11 points, respectively.
Boardman 46, Warren Harding 40
BOARDMAN
Jenna Vivo and Lauren Gabriele each scored 12 points as Boardman (7-5, 3-4) took charge in the second half. Kia Allen led Harding (5-5, 0-3) with 14 points and Joe’l Moss added 10.
Massillon Jackson 62, Austintown Fitch 48
AUSTINTOWN
A 26-point game from Taylor Mikesell guided Jthe Polar Bears. Mikesell hit three 3-pointers and went 6-8 from the line. The Falcons had two players in double figures. Jada Lazaro scored 18 points with three 3-pointers and Sabria Hunter provided 13 points.
Struthers 74, Hubbard 35
HUBBARD
Emily Grandy nailed seven 3-pointers, five of which were in the first quarter, en route to a 25-point performance for Struthers (9-4, 7-0 All-American Conference White). Alexis Bury scored 20 points in the win as well. Athenia Smith scored eight points to lead Hubbard.
Girard 41, Campbell 23
CAMPBELL
Megan Payich had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Girard (4-8, 3-3 AAC Blue). Makayla Trebella made 12 steals to tie a school record. Alana Rodriguez scored eight points to lead Campbell (0-13, 0-7).
Brookfield 78, Liberty 23
LIBERTY
Brookfield had two players record a double double and one had a triple double in a blowout victory. Tori Sheehan scored 20 points, dished 18 assists and pulled down 14 rebounds. Dana Sydlowski had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Kenzie Drapola put up 12 points and 11 assists. Bailey Drapola led the Warriors with 22 points. Delia Watson led Liberty with seven points.
Mineral Ridge 46, Lowellville 42
LOWELLVILLE
Alexa Harkins 15-point showing led Mineral Ridge. Taryn Kolesar added 10 points in the win. Loweville charted eight 3-pointers. Maria Mangine had three of them and scored 11 points. Marissa Lellio had hit 2 3-pointers and led the Rockets with 14 points.
Badger 60, Bristol 27
KINSMAN
Rebecca Lite paced the way for Badger, dropping 14 points. Lauryn Hamilton netted 11 points and Chloe Flowers scored 9 points. Elza scored 15 points for Bristol in the defeat. Rimer had 7. Kendall Switzer dominated on the glass with 7 rebounds.

Jackson-Milton 63, Lordstown 53
NORTH JACKSON
Noah Laster’s double-double featured 26 points and 19 rebounds for the Bluejays (5-7). Also scoring in double figures were John Voland with 15 and Clayton Maskarinec with 11. For the Red Devils (3-8), Michon Peterson scored 23 points and Dakota Bingham 18.
Maple Heights 57, Cardinal Mooney 50
YOUNGSTOWN
Mooney couldn’t overcome a 31-13 halftime deficit. Pete Haas scored 20 points in defeat for the Cardinals. Tyree Harris led Maple Heights with 16 points.
