POLAND

Paul and Barbara Churlik of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Churlik, to Nathan Rumm, both of Akron. The prospective groom is the son of Jim and Lenora Rumm of Edinboro, Pa.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 20 at Holy Family Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.

The bride-elect graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in managerial marketing and works for MACtac Americas.

The prospective groom graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in history. He works for FedEx and serves in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
