The Irish won a tense Holy War in double-overtime at home. Dayshanette Harris scored 44 points and Simone Comer added 20 in the win. Camden Hergenrother and Caitlyn Sapp each scored 16 points in defeat.

Austintown Fitch 51, Poland 49

POLAND

Natalie Lynn lead all scorers in Austintown Fitch’s win at Poland with 18 points. Sabria Hunter contributed 15 for the Falcons. The Bulldogs were lead by Sarah Bury with 15 points and Bella Gajdos with 12.

West Branch 74, Steubenville Cath. Cent. 46

BELOIT

Natalie Zuchowski scored 17 points in West Branch’s blowout of Steubenville Catholic Central. Hannah Ridgway scored 12 while Brenna Rito, Emma Rankin and Kayla Hovorka each added 11 points for the Warriors (10-2). Burtoia scored 12 points to lead the Crusaders (10-3).

Lakeview 53, Edgewood 18

ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP

Annie Pavlansky had a triple-double against Edgewood, scoring 17 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists in the comfortable win. The Bulldogs led 26-9 after the opening half. Kaileigh Sloan scored 10 points to lead Edgewood, which went 0-16 from 3-point land.

Newton Falls 81, Campbell 19

Izzy Kline scored 36 points for a new school record in the win for Newton Falls (9-2). Hannah Harnichar and Kayla Barreca each scored 10 points in the win. Alana Rodriguez scored nine points to lead Campbell (0-12).

Boardman 46, Struthers 39

STRUTHERS

Jenna Vivo scored 14 points for the Spartans (6-5) and Lauren Pavlansky added 13 as Boardman won on the road. Alexis Bury scored 10 points to lead the Wildcats (8-4).

Caitlyn Condoleon scored 14 while Genie Orlosky and Taejah Burney each added 11 points to the JFK win. Sharda Williamson scored 16 points for Liberty.

HUBBARD

The Eagles (4-8) outscored the Indians 16-3 in the fourth quarter to take control of a tight game. Athena Smith led Hubbard with 11 points. Makayla Trebella led Girard (3-8) with a game-high 12 points.

JEFFERSON

Toni Donaldson scored 18 points, Ka’Rina Mallory added 14 and Chardonnay Burke had 12 as the Raiders won on the road. Maddy Hitchcock led the Falcons with 12 points and Hannah Root added nine.

SALINEVILLE

Jacob Joiner led the way for Southern Local with 41 points in a win over East Palestine. Trevor Kimmel had 25 points for the Bulldogs in the defeat.

Newbury 40, Mathews 37

NEWBURY

The Black Knights (3-9, 2-5 Northeastern Athletic Conference) overcame an early 13-4 deficit to beat the Mustangs (3-8, 0-7). Noah Parsons scored 15 points and Nate Grubbs added 14 for Newbury. Sean McDivitt led all scorers with 18 points for Mathews and Jordan Hefner added 12.
