Canfield students prepare meals at the Ronald McDonald House
SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: Students from the Interact Club at Canfield High School spent a day during winter break preparing home-cooked meals for 55 guest families at the Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland. The meal provided a much-needed service to the families, who often do not have the time, energy or money to prepare a healthy meal during their stay. The Canfield students, along with Superintendent Alex Geordan and his family, prepared ham, pirogi, green beans and cookies, and also visited the hospital. The students are, front, from left, Isabelle Nuppnau, Candice Karykovich, Felia Busk, Gavin English and Cora Campbell; and, back, from left, Marissa Roberts, Elyjah Bailes, Arianna Geordan, Sarah Miller, Shelby Byrne, Remi Mikan, Carly Campbell and Preston English.
