Tole-painting class is Thursday at Munnell Run Farm

Staff report

MERCER, PA.

Join Munnell Run Farm and Mercer County Conservation district in conjunction with Georgia Mosebach in a program that highlights your creative, artistic side through painting.

With more than 25 years of tole-painting experience, Mosebach is eager to introduce people to that art.

Because the first class on Tuesday is full, there will be a second class added from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The project will be a wintry cabin scene with a bear on wood. No art experience is required. All materials are provided.

This program will be at Munnell Run Farm, 753 Greenville Road, which is located one mile outside the courthouse on Pa. Route 58 going toward Greenville. There is a sign with Munnell Run Farm on it. Turn down that lane and follow the signs down to the “Pig Barn.” This building will be the farthest one down the lane and is the only red building on the farm.

The program cost is $30. Those interested are asked to pre-register and pre-pay by Tuesday. To pre-register, call 724-662-2242 and ask for Jacqueline or Larissa. Make checks payable to: Munnell Run Farm, 24 Avalon Court, Suite 300, Mercer, PA 16137.
