Slice of the Valley pizza challenge returns

Rotary Club of Warren will host the third annual Slice of the Valley pizza challenge Feb. 18. It will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church banquet hall, 3223 Atlantic St. NE. Food, fun and auction items will be featured. Area pizza shops will offer slices to sample and two winners will be chosen. The people’s choice award will be selected by guests and the Judge’s trophy will be selected by celebrity judges.

Proceeds will be used for the Rotary International project to help the victims of acid attacks in Africa and Project Play, a local effort to provide children a safe place to play and enjoy outdoor activities on the southwest side of Warren.
