Historical society offers memberships

VIENNA

Vienna Historical Society is offering a lifetime membership for a single contribution of $250. Lifetime members are recognized at the annual membership meeting.

Other fees remain the same: $10 per adult and $5 per student each year.

Forms can be mailed or taken to the January meeting. Receipts will be issued upon request.

The society board of directors for 2017 are: Norma Brink, Shirley Wajda, Dylan Anders, Pam Clower, Pam Klinger, Phil Pegg, Jill Pegg, Michele Garman and Christine Novicky.

Officers for 2017 are Christine M. Novicky, president; Pam Clower, vice president; Dylan Anders, secretary; Pam Klinger, treasurer; and Shirley T. Wajda, historian.

Goals for 2017 include working more on the township archives, more restoration and repairs in the township cemeteries, finishing the oral history release form and preserving a township book from the 1800s.
