Niles outscored Liberty 15-5 in the second quarter to break the game open. Tyrese Willaims scored 20 points for the Red Dragons. Corbin Foy added 16 points, while Cyler Kane Johnson scored 11. For Liberty, Andre Bowers scored 12 points.

Howland 58, Austintown Fitch 53

AUSTINTOWN

Howland picked up a win behind the scoring effort of Nate Leventis (17 points). Also scoring in double figures for the Tigers were Connor Tamarkin (15 points) and Mike Massucci (11). Scoring in double figures for Fitch were Randy Smith (14) and Dylan Beany (10).

LaBrae 75, Campbell 46

CAMPBELL

Behind the duo of Tariq Drake (22 points) and Carlton Brown (14), LaBrae defeated Campbell. Aaron Iler added 11 points for the Vikings. Campbell got 11 points from Rasean Hicks and 10 from Devontay Johnson.

Newton Falls 49, Brookfield 43

BROOKFIELD

Evan Purnell scored 12 points for Newton Falls (4-5). Brookfield was led by Chad Filipovich (13 points) and Brian Hiner (12).

Jefferson 60, Hubbard 57

HUBBARD

Sam Hitchcock led Jefferson with 25 points. Also reaching double figure scoring for the Falcons were Raffaele Giancola (12) and Sam Chaney (10). Nick Fearers, Davion Daniels and Jared Southern each scored 11 points for Hubbard.

Alliance 72, Salem 51

ALLIANCE

D.J. Hancock hit five three-pointers and scored 27 points overall for Alliance (5-2). Dom Fletcher added 13 points for the Aviators. Jon Gerace scored 20 points for Salem (3-6). Josh Young added 11 points.

Springfield 64, United 58

HANOVERTON

Springfield’s Jake Ford made 18 out of 20 free throw attempts en route to a 33-point scoring performance. Frank Centofanti added 21 points, with 15 of his points coming from behind the three point line. Dakota Hill (21 points) and Jake Clark (15) led the way for United (5-5).

Cleveland Central Catholic 86, Warren JFK 40.

CLEVELAND

Central Cathloic’s depth was too much for Warren JFK. Playing 15 players in the contest Taylor Golphin led the way with 11 for Central Catholic. Warren JFK was shorthanded with three starters out but Nate Woods was able to score a team high 16 points.

Canfield 73, Lakeside 62

CANFIELD

Canfield had five players in double figures with Jake Cummings leading the team with 17. Lakeside was led by Matt Lunghofer’s 21 points and Devin Moore had 20 but it just wasn’t enough to overtake Canfield and their balanced scoring.

Lakeview 71, Struthers 65, OT

CORTLAND

Lakeview and Struthers had an overtime affair with Lakeview getting the win behind 41 points and five three pointers from Chris Muir. Sturthers got 19 points and four 3-pointers from Andrew Carbon with A.J. Musolino adding 16.

South Range 84, Southern 45

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

South Range had five players in double figures. Leading the charge was Dan Ritter with 17 while Taymer Graham and Brandon Youngs both added 12 points. Jacob Joiner scored 20 points and Dominic Pugliano added 16 for Southern.

Lisbon 60, Leetonia 48

LEETONIA

Lisbon was only up two points at halftime but outscored Leetonia 31-21 in the second half for the victory. Justin Sweeney led Lisbon with 21 points. Austin Keats scored 15 for Leetonia.

Bristol 84, Bloomfield 43

BRISTOLVILLE

Bristol scored 62 first half points on their way to victory. Four different Panthers scored in double figures including Tommy Donadio (19 points), Bryan Gabrielson (14), Phil Aliberti (13), and Matt Church (11). Forrest Sokolowski hit seven three pointers and scored 23 points overall for Bloomfield.

East Palestine 62, Crestview 48

COLUMBIANA

Led by Branden Kemp (17 points) and Trevor Kimmel (14) East Palestine defeated Crestview (1-9). Also scoring in double figures for the Bulldogs was Stephen Darlington with 10 points. Chance Mustake led Crestview with 10 points, while Scott Murray added nine points and eight rebounds.

Western Reserve 111, Mineral Ridge 73

BERLIN CENTER

Western Reserve had five players in double figures and hit 12 three pointers in the game. Cole DeZee had 23 points and Kade Hilles scored 19 for Western Reserve. Mineral Ridge had two twenty point scorers. Christian Dirando with 27 and Jordan Zupko with 20.

Kennedy Catholic (Pa.) 86, Warren Harding 80

HERMITAGE, PA.

Warren Harding’s comeback attempt came up short. Trailing 63-49 heading into the final quarter Harding outscored Kennedy Catholic 31-23 but it wasnt enough. Maceo Austin (22 points), Drew Magestro (21), and Channing Phillips (21) led the Eagles. Mohamed Konate added 14. Lynn Bowden led the Raiders with 30 points, hitting seven 3-pointers. Derek Culver added 21 points and Lynn Williams scored 11.

Wellsville 82, Columbiana 60

COLUMBIANA

Wellsville had three double digit scorers. Justin Miller with 21, Jake Green had 16, and Garrett Scott chipped in with 12. Columbiana leading scorers were Jared Wilson and Burdette Baker who both had 17 points.

Maplewood 74, Mathews 43

MECCA

Maplewood outscored Mathews 17-2 in the third quarter and had a 26-point fourth quarter. Zach Dawson led the Rockets with 21 points. Jake Hall added 15 points and Bobby Evan and Matthew Sheely put up 13 and 12 points, respectively. Sean McDivitt made five threes in a 19-point performance for Mathews. Kenny Wallace also reached double figures for the Mustangs with 10 points.

Grand Valley 60, Badger 45

KINSMAN

Jude Cunningham scored 28 for Grand Valley with Gabe Arsulic adding 14. Badger was led by Aiden Miller and his 15 points.

McDonald 72, Jackson-Milton 58

McDONALD

Joe Ragazzine paced McDonald with 30 points. Dylan Portolese and Braeden Poole put up 15 and 13 points, respectively. John Voland led Jackson-Milton with 18 points. Eric Ostrowski added 12 points and Noah Laster contributed 11.
