Dobbins students had a few days to shop for holiday gifts during school on Dec. 13 and 14 during Santa’s Workshop.
Students had the opportunity to purchase gifts for their friends and family from the shop the Dobbins PTO worked hard to put together. Several parents volunteered their time work during Santa’s Workshop to make sure the shop ran smoothly. The PTO plans the workshop every year and provides items that are affordable for the students.
There was a variety of items available for the students to purchase. There were gifts showing Poland school spirit, toys for children, products for adults and various others. Each class came down one at a time and had around 30 minutes to pick out their gifts. The students could use baskets to hold their gifts until they were ready to check out.
The money made from Santa’s Workshop goes back to the Dobbins PTO to help fund other activities and classroom parties for the students to enjoy. Santa’s Workshop gives students the opportunity to have fun, while being productive, and buying holiday gifts.
