Brookfield students participate in diversity training
SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Brookfield Middle and High School students participated in a diversity training session as part of their participation in Project Mosaic with Michael Douglas of Diversity Initiatives Inc. Students learned about issues of intolerance and bullying by using hands-on activities and role playing to prepare for situations that present themselves. Additional training will be offered in this month. Participating in the session were Douglas, second from left in back, with teachers Melanie Horn, left, and Brad Harnett, far right. High school students were Bailey Drapola, Taeyana Ashley and Akaia Oatis. Seventh graders included Cameron Wellman, Abby Hill, Anna Reichart, Tasha Oviatt, Rachael Kaiser, Bruce Whitacre, Kaden Lowe and Crystal Kowalsky; and eighth graders Matt Breighner, Maddie Evans, Ciara Sinkuc, J.P. Webb, Kadon Torres, Kaelyn Johns, Shae Brown, Jasmyn Foist, Haden Gibson, Jordan Sheehan and Riley Brantley.
