Austintown Rotary spreads cheer in school district

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Austintown Rotary spread Christmas cheer during the recent holiday season. Kritti’s Closet is a room housed at Fitch High School that provides clothing, personal hygiene products and meals to students in need. Rotary donated $500 to Kritti’s Closet with the funds earmarked to buy meals for about 50 families. Above, in Kritti’s Closet, are Tracie Kaglic, left, Rotarian; Donna Burnell, family and consumer science teacher; and Christina Gaca and Brian Frederick, Rotarians. Below are Lori Schafer, left, president of Austintown Parent-Teacher Association, and Kaglic. Rotary presented a $1,500 check to the PTA for the organization’s Falcon Outreach Program. The program helped about 100 families in Austintown elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools.
