Reminder: Send-off rally for YSU football team is at 11 a.m. today

YOUNGSTOWN — The send-off rally for the Youngstown State University football team on its way to Texas for the FCS national championship game against James Madison University is from 11 a.m. to noon at Armed Forces Boulevard on campus between Stambaugh Stadium and the Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

The team will board buses for the trip to the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport for the trip to Frisco, Texas. Cheerleaders, the pep band, Pete and Penny Penguin, students, faculty, staff and fans, including YSU President Jim Tressel, will be on hand to cheer on the team.
