Ursuline (7-3) hit twelve three pointers and was led by Vince Venzeio with 26 points. He made five 3-pointers. Anthony Howell scored 20 points, Anise Algahmee 14 and Trace Leonard 12.

Austintown Fitch 60, Lakeside 51

Randy Smith scored a game-high 21 points for Fitch. Also in double figures for the Falcons were Larry Harrington (14 points) and Dylan Bevny (12).

HOWLAND

Lynn Bowden scored 23 points and Tiryn Frank added 16 for the Raiders. For Howland, Mike Massucci scored 11 and Kevin Moamis 10.

Poland 64, Hubbard 51

POLAND

Kyle Patterson’s 17 points included five 3-pointers for the Bulldogs. Also scoring in double figures were Daniel Kramer with 13 and Braeden O’Shaughnessy with 11. For the Eagles, Nick Ferrera led with 11 points.

NEWTON FALLS

Gage Friend (12 points) and Joey Urso (10) reached double figure scoring for Newton Falls (3-5). Darion Jones scored 18 points on six three-pointers for Campbell (2-7).

GIRARD

Austin Claussell led the way for Girard, scoring a game-high 20 points. Anthony Graziano (15 points) and Anthony Backus (14) also reached double figures for the Indians. Andre Bowers (16 points) and Dra Rushton (15) led the way for Liberty.

Lakeview 56, Brookfield 47

BROOKFIELD

Lakeview had a 29-19 lead at halftime and never relinquished it. Shris Muir led the team in scoring with 10. Brookfield had a 20-point third quarter but just couldn’t get over the slow start. Conner Stevens led with 10 points.

Jefferson 72, Niles 61

JEFFERSON

Jefferson (7-2) was able to get the win behind the scoring of Sam Hitchcock with 21 and Raffaele Giancola with 23 points. Niles (2-7) used a 31-point fourth quarter to make it close. Da’Jaon Motley led the team in scoring with 22 points.

McDonald 90, Southern 54

MCDONALD

Freshman Zach Rasile made 10 3-points and scored 32 points to lead the Blue Devils. Braedon Poole scored 16 points and Dylan Portolese 15 while Evan Magill and Joe Raggazzine each had 12. For the Indians, Jacob Joiner led with 25 points.

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Dan Ritter scored 22 points to lead the Raiders. Also scoring in double figures were Anthony Ritter and Mark Vennetti with 11 apiece and Brandon Youngs with 10. For the Quakers, Mitch Davidson led with 21.

Springfield 61, Columbiana 33

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Jake Ford scored 29 points and Brandon Walters netted eight to lead the Tigers. For the Clippers, Burdette Baker scored 16 points and Jared Wilson scored eight.

Jackson-Milton 61, Lisbon 52

LISBON

Noah Laster (21 points) and Eric Ostrowski (20) led the way for Jackson-Milton (4-5). Ostrowski hit five three-pointers. For Lisbon (6-4), the trio of Justin Sweeney (17 points), Colin Sweeney (14) and Branson Brownfield (13) reached double figures. Each hit two three-pointers.

Lowellville 65, Crestview 37

LOWELLVILLE

Crestview trailed by three after a quarter of play, but a 16-5 run from Lowellville in the second sunk them. Jake Rotz led the Rockets with 18 points and Nate Solak and Matt Huisdak put up 12 and 11 points, respectively. Scott Murray had a team-high seven points for Crestview.

Western Reserve 80, United 57

BERLIN CENTER

Western Reserve led 44-26 at halftime. Jack Cappabianca led the Blue Devils with 15 points, Marcos Cruz added 11 and Kade and Cody Hilles each had 10 points. Kaden Smith and Dakota Hill each scored 16 points for United.

Leetonia 60, Mineral Ridge 56

LEETONIA

Led by the trio of Isaac Stecker (20 points), Brock Simpson (16) and Danny McCool (13) Leetonia got their first win of the season. Christian Dirando scored a game-high 25 points for Mineral Ridge. Jordan Zupko added 10 points.

Sebring 77, East Palestine 63

EAST PALESTINE

Jason Dickson scored 28 points to lead Sebring, after it trailed 18-7 in the first quarter. Robbie Rouse added 17 points and Colin Baia chipped in with 14 points for the Bulldogs. Branden Kemp was the leading scorer for East Palestine with 13 points.

Maplewood 77, Lordstown 35

LORDSTOWN

Maplewood was able to secure a win behind Jake Hall and his game high 27 points. Zach Dawson added 12 points for Maplewood. Lordstown’s high scorer was Dakota Bingham with 24 points in the contest.

Bristol 76, Badger 35

BRISTOLVILLE

Bristol’s (7-1, 5-0) Tommy Donadio made five threes for 25 points and Gage Elza added four more from beyond the arc in a 14-point performance. Phil Alberti contributed 12 points as the Panthers rolled. Keith Barto scored 10 points for Badger.

Beaver Local 47, Edison 44

RICHMOND

Beaver Local outscored Edison 16-8 in the fourth quarter to grab the win. Chase Wilcox led the Beavers with 21 points and Michael Clendenning added 10. Connor Hyndman had 18 points for Edison.
