Opening statements begin today in murder trial for Hodges, Bell

YOUNGSTOWN — Opening statements will begin this morning in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for two people accused of the death of an Ayers Street man last February.

Kimani Hodges, and Angel Bell, also 20, are charged with the death of Jason Fonseca, 20, who was shot to death Feb. 17 in front of his driveway.

Visiting Judge H.W. Inderlied Jr. is hearing the case.
