Boardman police investigating theft from area restaurant

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a theft case reported at an area restaurant. 

The owner of That's a Wrap Cafe, located on U.S. Route 224, reported to police Tuesday that a generator had been stolen from a truck belonging to the business. The generator's estimated value is $4,000, according to a police report. 

The truck was parked outside the business when the reported theft occurred. The generator, which weighs several hundred pounds, was mounted on the bumper, the victim owner reported.
