Accident causes power outage on Youngstown's South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — An Ohio Edison crew is on the scene to restore power to more than 100 Youngstown customers who are without electricity, according to FirstEnergy’s website.

Between 101 and 500 customers on the South Side are without power. The outage was caused by a vehicle accident, according to the site.

Power is expected to be restored by 8:30 p.m.
