Kalie Marie Gargano and Patrick Joseph Murphy were united in marriage during a ceremony Dec. 31, 2016, at Grace Chapel Community Church officiated by The Rev. Aaron Lego. A reception followed in the ballroom of the Avalon Golf and Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Denise Gargano of Hermitage. Parents of the groom are Kevin and Karen Murphy of Warren.

Elise Baldarelli was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Vetter, the groom’s sister; Jenne Williams; Rachel Angstadt; Dana Leventhal; and Caitlin Whaley.

Ryan Thornlow performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Vetter and Tyler Gargano, brothers-in-law of the groom; Brian Mack; Nick Griseto; and Scott Burgess.

Mrs. Murphy graduated from Ohio Northern University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is a third-year medical student at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Raleigh, N.C.

Mr. Murphy graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in systems engineering. He is employed as a project controls analyst for Black and Veatch in Raleigh.

After a honeymoon to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Raleigh.
