Polish Youngstown will host its seventh annual paczki sale Tuesday to celebrate Fat Tuesday.
Paczki, a Polish dessert similar to jelly donuts, will be available for purchase at these Kravitz’s Deli locations: 3135 Belmont Ave., Liberty; Poland Library, 311 S. Main St., Poland; and Fellows Riverside Gardens Cafe, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown.
Flavors include plain, apricot, lekvar/plum, poppy seed, custard and rose hip jam and cost $2 for one, $10 for six, and $16 for a dozen. If ordered before Tuesday, a dozen will cost $15.
Polish Youngstown will continue to celebrate Fat Tuesday all day at the cafe locations with games, music, dancing and give-aways.
A golden coin will be placed in one of the paczki, and the recipient will win a grand prize. To order paczki in advance, visit www.polishyoungstown.org.
