Boil-water alert issued today for some Champion Township residents
CHAMPION
The Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer’s Office has issued a boil-water advisory for residents of High Street between Craig Avenue and Kuszmaul Avenue and Craig Avenue between Glendola Avenue and High Street.
At around 2 p.m. Friday, repairs were being made on a water line on Craig Avenue that was broken by another public utility, the sanitary engineer’s office said.
When the repairs are complete and the water service has been restored, Trumbull County water customers in the designated area will need to boil water used for consumption until further notice.
A boil advisory means that users should boil tap water used for drinking or ingestion to a rolling boil for three to five minutes, the sanitary engineer’s office says.
