“THE PALEY CENTER SALUTES NBC’S 90TH ANNIVERSARY” (9 p.m., NBC): Hosted by “Frasier’s” Kelsey Grammer, “The Paley Center Salutes NBC’s 90th Anniversary” features iconic special guests from NBC’s incredible 90-year history including Ted Danson, Tina Fey, William Shatner and Jennifer Lopez. Beginning with its first radio broadcast from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, this special takes a look at it all – Must See TV, dramas, sitcoms, workplace sitcoms, late night, variety shows and specials, reality and game shows, news, sports and “Saturday Night Live.”

“Big Little Lies” (9 p.m., HBO): A stellar cast featuring Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley and Laura Dern bolsters this juicy, seven-episode whodunit. Adapted by David E. Kelley from a best-selling novel, it’s set in the tranquil coastal town of Monterey, where alpha females and trophy wives lead seemingly carefree lives in majestic homes. But the glossy picture-perfectionism is shattered when someone ends up dead during a swanky fund-raiser gala.

“Billlons” (10 p.m., Showtime): As Season 2 of “Billions” begins, hard-charging U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades continues his anger-fueled battle against billionaire hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, scorching the earth in a costly war for personal domination.

“Crashing” (10:30 P.M., HBO): Pete Holmes stars in the new semi-autobiographical comedy “Crashing.” He’s a suburban nice guy who is married to his childhood sweetheart and dreams of making it as a stand-up comedian. But when he learns his wife is cheating on him, he is forced to re-evaluate his priorities.
