HONORS

The 2017 Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) elevated Bruce Sekanick of Phillips Sekanick Architects in Warren to its prestigious College of Fellows.

This honor is awarded to members who have made a significant contribution to architecture and to society, and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Out of 178 architects elevated nationally, eight were from Ohio. The Ohio Valley Region was the only region to have 100 percent of its submissions accepted. Sekanick will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the AIA Conference on Architecture in Orlando, Fla.

Sekanick also serves as AIA’s National Secretary for 2017-2018.
