Jordan School of Ballet presents Winter Gala

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Jordan School of Ballet performed its Winter Gala on Feb. 5 at Garden Brook Banquet Center in Cortland. Tickets included an evening of ballet and a catered dinner. The performances were French-themed, with excerpts from “Giselle,” “Sylvia” and three acts from “Coppelia.” Lisa Zumpella Jordan, artistic director, choreographed the dance “A Stroll Through Paris” to end the program. Performers included students from Trumbull and Mahoning counties and Hermitage and Canton. In front, from left, are Cassidy Hluchan as Swanhilda and Alyssa Armstrong as Franz. In the second row are Abreonna Cheesbro, Jenna Walden, Hannah Koon and Emma Koon as friends of Swanhilda.
