Historical society prepares annual Cookie Table & Cocktails event

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Mahoning Valley Historical Society is preparing for its fifth annual Cookie Table & Cocktails on Saturday at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St. More than 50 professional and amateur bakers will donate cookies for the contest, which will be judged by community leaders. Attendees will be able to eat the cookies after judging. The event is organized by the Young Leaders Advisory Board, and is a fundraiser for new exhibits in the center. More than $40,000 has been raised since the first Cookie Table & Cocktails event in 2013. Huntington Bank is the title sponsor.
