The 11th annual Cattle Baron’s Ball, a fundraiser for American Cancer Society, will take place April 1 at The Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road. The theme will be “Denim and Diamonds,” with dinner, music, dancing, and live and silent auctions. Attendees are encouraged to wear country and western-style outfits. Shout! will provide entertainment.

This year’s guests are Lawrence A. DiDomenico, DPM, cancer survivor honoree; Richard G. Barr, MD, Ph.D., medical honoree; and Brett Wilcox, 9, of Boardman, and Ava Timko, 9, of Canfield, both pediatric cancer survivors. Bob and Katy Shroder are honorary chairmen; Carole Weimer and Annette Camacci are the event chairmen; and Lauren Wood of WKBN is mistress of ceremonies.

Dr. DiDomenico began his podiatry career in 1990 after earning his medical degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. In 1994, he and colleagues Dr. Kenneth Emch and Dr. Robert Debiec founded Ankle & Foot Care Centers, which today is a 19-office regional podiatry practice spanning Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties in Ohio, and Greenville, Pa.

Dr. Barr is a radiologist in Youngstown. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
