The Boardman Township trustees have scheduled a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. today. The purpose of this meeting is to award the bid for the main fire station project at Market Street and Stadium Drive. The meeting will be at the township government center, 8299 Market St.

Senator to meet with Mercer leaders

SHARON, PA.

U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., will meet with Mercer County leaders to discuss opportunities for economic development in the region at 3:30 p.m. Monday at The Casino at Buhl Park, 715 Hazen Road. The group, which includes local business owners and government officials, will share its thoughts on growing the region’s economy.

Award for clean audit

BELOIT

Auditor of State Dave Yost announced that West Branch School District received the Auditor of State Award for its clean audit reports. The award is presented to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit.
