Burgess and Delgado-Rivas plans revealed

The parents of Najiyah Dje’ Burgess and Luis Geray Delgado-Rivas, both of Austintown, are announcing their engagement. Nicole Rhodes-Smith of Austintown and Antoine Burgess of Edgewater, Fla., are the parents of the bride-elect, and Gloria Rivas of Youngstown and Luis Delgado of Penn Grove, N.J., are the parents of the prospective groom.

An open wedding is planned for April 22 at the Great Hall at Butler North in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The bride-elect is a licensed practical nurse for Gateways to Better Living and her fiance works for Schwebel Baking Company.
