Man robs pizza place of $450 Wednesday night

YOUNGSTOWN — Police said a man claiming to have a gun Wednesday got away with $450 from Oven Fresh Pizza, 2608 South Ave.

Police were called to the store about 6:10 p.m., where an employee told them the man claimed to have a gun but never showed it.

After he got the money the robber ran away. Police searched the area but could not find him.
