Have a Heart Dance

Lyla Freeman, the daughter of Discovery at Kirkmere teacher Corissa Freeman, will undergo surgery at Akron Children’s Hospital in March for a congenital heart disorder. Discovery students and staff will host a “Have a Heart Dance” for the students to help raise money for the family.

When: Thursday

Who: Middle-school students, 1 to 2 p.m.; elementary students, 2 to 3 p.m.
