The 59th Annual Grammy Awards (8 p.m., CBS): James Corden, the dynamic late-night funny guy who regularly hosts music’s biggest stars in his car, now gets to host an entire arena full of them. The eye-popping performance list for the night features Adele, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, John Legend, Metallica, Alicia Keys and plenty of others. As for the nominations, Beyonce leads everyone with nine, including one for album of the year (“Lemonade”).

“The Missing” (8 p.m., Starz): The second installment of “The Missing” kicks off a suspenseful eight-episode run with a new story and a new cast that includes David Morrissey (“The Walking Dead”). In the opener, a long-lost young woman unexpectedly surfaces, but her return triggers another mystery.

“The Walking Dead” (9 p.m., AMC): Season 7 of “The Walking Dead” resumes as Rick and company try to round up enough allies to take down the evil Negan. But can he convince Ezekiel to join the cause?

“Girls” (10 p.m., HBO): “Girls” launches its sixth season tonight, and we’re really hoping that Hannah and her self-absorbed gal pals will finally grow up. Then again, we won’t bet big money on that happening.

First Night seeks board members

YOUNGSTOWN

First Night Youngstown, the family-oriented celebration of the arts on New Year’s Eve, is accepting applications for its board of directors.

Board members oversee the annual event in downtown Youngstown.

The board meets once a month, and each member is expected to serve on at least one committee.

Interested people should call the First Night Youngstown office at 330-744-9966 for an application. Deadline to return applications is Feb. 28.
