Italian fraternity sets national gathering


YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown will host a national gathering of the Italian-heritage college fraternity, Alpha Pi Delta, Friday and Saturday.

The fraternity’s annual National Council meeting will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in Beeghly Hall at Youngstown State University. Officers, alumni and undergraduate delegates from across the country will debate a variety of issues related to the fraternity’s governance and future.

John McNally, mayor of Youngstown, will address the delegates at 9 a.m., and Bo Pelini, head football coach at YSU, will speak at noon.
