Melissa Pasquale and Ryan Dutton were married July 23 in St. Dominic Church by the Rev. Bernard M. Timothy. A reception took place at Drake’s Landing in Canfield.
Parents of the bride are Mike and Chris Pasquale of Canfield. The parents of the groom are Terry and Denise Dutton of Boardman.
Mrs. Dutton wore a hand-beaded chevron lace gown designed with a chapel train. Her headpiece was a crown of baguette stones with succulents and other greenery.
Jamie Patrus and Nicole Straub were her honor attendants. The bridesmaids were Sharon Dranko; Sarah Holmes, the groom’s sister; Ashley Olson, the groom’s cousin; Emily Pasquale, the bride’s sister-in-law; Valentina Schrock; and Karen Zapp. The flower girls were Peyton and Presley Holmes and Josie Vest, all nieces of the groom. The attendants wore ivory tunics with pleated floor-length metallic skirts.
Bob Scavina, the groom’s uncle, and John Watkins shared the duties of best man. The groomsmen were Michael Callahan; Kevin Holmes, the groom’s brother-in-law; Kevin Orlando, the groom’s cousin; Michael Pasquale, the bride’s brother; Jimmy Pasquine; and Jon Tatarka. John Paul Pipala, the bride’s cousin, was the ring bearer.
Ushers were Nick Rovisa, Eric Soller, Kristian Vandemark and Charlie Joe Vest. Alex Hoffman, Rebecca Mohr, Erin O’Connor and Taylor Olson also participated.
Mrs. Dutton graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising. She is a trend forecaster at the corporate office of Kohl’s in New York City.
Mr. Dutton also graduated from KSU with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is a project manager for Text 100 Global Integrated Communications in New York.
The couple traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for their wedding trip. They reside in New York.
